The first 2 weeks of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) were done with much prayer and offerings, self-quarantine, cleaning and disinfecting all corners of the convent.
March 16 was the beginning of ECQ and it was on March 28 when the community started to prepare food for the Frontliners and Volunteers at the Philippines General Hospital (PGH). Not realizing then, that there were hundreds of homeless people locked down in a nearby parish. And so, with the Tablea from Cocoa Monster we cooked Champorado for the Homeless and Street Dwellers.
Seeing the need to feed more during this time of Pandemic, we transform the Penthouse of the building into a bigger kitchen…..and the #loveandserviceduringCovid19 begun.
