A GRACE-FILLED EXPERIENCE: Council of the Institute

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” (Psalm 126:3)

Participating in the Council of the Institute of our Congregation especially as it was held here in our Province has been a profound experience of grace and communion. From the very beginning, there were many preoccupations and concerns, as is natural when preparing for such an important event. Yet, as the days passed and I saw the faces of all the participants gathered from different parts of the world, my heart was filled with gratitude and wonder. Truly, it was a blessing. In those encounters, I felt deeply the immense love of God for His disciples.

On a personal level, I also experienced some challenges, particularly with the language, since Italian was the primary medium of communication. But even in this, technology became a great help, reminding me that the Lord always provides what we need in order to walk together.

I wish to express my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to our Mother General for the trust she has given us and for the opportunity to be of service to the Congregation through this significant event. Her confidence in our Province became for us not only a responsibility, but also a grace… a beautiful occasion to live our mission in communion with the whole Institute.

I also feel a deep gratitude to all the Sisters, especially the members of the COI committees, for their generous collaboration and beautiful spirit of oneness that made these celebrations truly meaningful. Thank you for the hard work, for the tireless days and nights of preparation and service, for your constant availability, and for the many sacrifices offered quietly and faithfully. Above all, thank you for your prayers and for sharing your gifts… great and small which enriched our common journey.

My gratitude also extends to the many friends who supported us, both materially and spiritually. Their presence was a silent but powerful testimony of communion in mission.

This experience has been, for me personally, a great blessing. I felt surrounded by my Sisters, friends, and families who collaborated with generosity and love. Once again, I witnessed how our mission is never carried out alone, it is always a shared journey, sustained by faith, trust, and mutual support.

With a grateful heart, I entrust all these fruits to the Lord, confident that what we have lived together will continue to bear life for the Church and for our Congregation.
