Today, we celebrate 88 years of a life marked by quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and deep love. My father—hardworking and industrious, has always been a pillar in our family, not just by his words, but more powerfully by his example.
When we were young, he made the difficult decision to work overseas in Saudi Arabia—far from the comfort of home and the warmth of family—just to provide for us, his family, his three children. His sacrifices were not in vain; because of him, we were given the gift of a good education, the opportunity to dream, and the foundation for a better life. He worked not for recognition, but out of love to let his children finish their studies. And when his mission abroad was complete—when his youngest child had graduated —he quietly returned to the Philippines, to a simpler, quieter life. But even then, he did not rest. He found joy and dignity in the soil, tilling the land, raising mangoes, work that reflected the same perseverance and care he had always given to us.
Now, in the sunset years of his life, after surviving a stroke and learning to move with the aid of a cane, he continues to be a source of strength. Though his steps are slower, his presence is no less powerful. His legacy lives on in his 3 grandchildren—whom he loves dearly—and in our hearts that carry his values wherever we go.
Thank you, PA. We love you. Your life is a gift to us. May God bless you with peace, joy, and the tender love you so generously gave to us all.
Today, we do not only celebrate 88 years of life. We honor 88 years of love in action, of faithfulness in hardship, of a father’s quiet heroism.
Thank You LORD, for the gift of his life, for the years You have granted him—years filled with quiet strength, silent sacrifices, and unwavering love. May You continue to bless him with good health, inner peace, and the joy that comes from knowing he is deeply loved by You and by us. May his heart be filled with the comfort of Your presence and the reward of a life lived with faith and generosity.
Grant him the grace of a peaceful heart, the consolation of Your promises, and the blessing of knowing how much he is cherished.
HAPPY AND BLESSED BIRTHDAY, PA!
Deo Gratias!
