After ten days, the remains of the Typhoon Carina still haunt us. The basement of our convent in Quezon City was completely devastated by the relentless floodwaters brought by the typhoon. Once a place of storage and tranquility, now it is a scene of chaos and destruction. The water had seeped into every corner, damaging and leaving behind a trail of debris and mud. The extent of the damage was heartbreaking….but life has to go on. We just have to fully trust in God’s divine providence. …as the youth of today says…”MOVE ON NALANG” and St. Paul would say: STRAIN FORWARD.
