Journeying towards Easter brought me back to the Lenten message of Pope Francis: “Lent is a new beginning, a path leading to the certain goal of Easter, Christ’s victory over death. This season urgently calls us to conversion and its a favorable season for deepening our spiritual life through the means of sanctification offered us by the Church: fasting, prayer and almsgiving.”

What is ask of me now? GIVING UP something? indulgence in Food, Social Media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube and blogs…and photography? GIVING SOMETHING TO OTHERS? What could this be?  What is my goal?
Ooooohhhhhh does all these things helped? Of course, it does help…great…but the big question is: what does my heart indulge to? Yes, the Church offered us the means of sanctification: prayer, fasting and almsgiving. As Pope Francis says…Now is the time for us to be more closer to God…Lent is a favorable season for deepening our spiritual life. Now, we are given the chance to Pray more, to Fast and to Give alms and share to others.
Think again…. how’s my Prayer life? Am I faithful to all the Practices of Piety? How’s my relationship with GOD, with OTHERS…with myself?
Day after day, the Lord made me feel how much love He has for me. He has given me endless ways to discover and rediscover what life is. Life indeed is beautiful. O LORD,……. ” By myself, I can do nothing, with you, I can do all”. …and I do understand my life is a “work in progress”.
