I woke up with the sunlight comes creeping in my room. So lucky to have the beautiful spot in the house and to have a dear friend like Tess, who is so good, kind and hospitable. So blessed to spend once again my vacation with her in this serene and beautiful place of ESINE, “a comune” in the province of Brescia, in the Italian region of Lombardy, in the Camonica valley, located 43 kilometers north of Brescia. Actually, in the Camunian dialect, Esine is also called Eden. Indeed, the exact name to describe this beautiful place, surrounded by mountains.What I love most in this little town of Brescia is not only the serenity of the place but of the locals itself. I felt that each one knew each other, everyone I met as I walked on my way to the church for the morning mass greeted me “buon giorno, ” and of course they gave their “belle sorriso”….that made my day…quite different from the city.
